That’s why we are so intent on adding these important new facilities and programmes. Our plans include:
- A vastly expanded education programme to reach all Jewish schools, Jewish youth clubs and summer schemes throughout the country .
- Providing a second unit of flexible accommodation. This will be used for resettlement clients moving out of the refuge; and for those for whom the refuge isn't suitable – eg women with boys over 13, or women with many children.
- Expanding our community support services to reach communities in Stamford Hill, Redbridge, Manchester and other areas which have large Jewish populations, and also providing counsellors in those areas.
- Setting up a JWA legal support service.
- Setting up a survivors group.
- Setting up a web based support service.
- Extending the hours of the helpline.
To support our current work, and make our future plans possible, we need all the help we can get – you can donate online right now, you can join JWA and you can volunteer. Please become one of those good people who are making a difference. |
