Educating young people Sessional workers & volunteers Are you interested in helping us deliver our innovative Education and Safer Dating programmes? JWA is always looking for dynamic men and women with a strong youth work background to work as Education Sessional Workers on an ad-hoc basis. JWA’s Education programme exists in order to educate young Jewish people (aged 11-25) about domestic violence, signs of abusive or unhealthy relationships, sexual harassment, sexual violence and other related issues. Education sessional workers are also required to support delivery of our work in schools and youth movements in London and across the U.K. We are also keen to receive applications for our ‘peer-led’ Safer Dating Programme from men and women who would like to be part of this very current conversation with 6th formers, university students and young professionals. You’ll be enthusiastic, creative, and able to work with a wide range of young people and adults. You will already have experience of presenting informal educational sessions on sensitive topics. Understanding of violence against women & girls, and knowledge of the Jewish community, is essential. Ad-hoc rates are £25 per hour. Download a job description.
