To mark our 30th anniversary, on the 17th and 18th March 2024, we held a 36-hour matched fundraising campaign to raise vital funds to enable us to respond to the growing number of women turning to Jewish Women's Aid in desperate need of our specialised support services.

With the incredible support of 129 champions, 2,415 donors and 2 generous match funders, we raised over £500,000! It is thanks to all of our incredible supporters that we raised over our target amount to "Protect All Jewish Women from Abuse".

Our Chair of Trustees, Caroline Ratner, said: "It's been an amazing few days. I am so proud that our "Protect All Jewish Women from Abuse" campaign has been such a success. We are so thankful to our supporters for rallying around the vulnerable women in our community and for helping us ensure that we can continue our vital work."

Women affected by abuse and violence are facing increasingly complex challenges. Increased living costs, delays in family court processes, rising fears of antisemitism, and events in Israel triggering past traumas have worsened already intolerable situations. Demands for our services show no sign of abating in 2024. Already this year, we have responded to a 24% increase in new referrals.

We recognise that preventing domestic abuse and violence starts with empowering the next generation with the tools to establish healthy relationships. Over the last year alone, through our school, youth movement, and campus programmes, more than 5,000 young people aged 14-25 years old took part in our healthy education and consent training sessions.

Jewish Women's Aid is here to protect all Jewish women from abuse.

Every penny will make a difference to the women and children we support.

We are so grateful for your support!
