Who we are

Naomi Dickson became Chief Executive of Jewish Women’s Aid in 2014. She has been involved in JWA for 17 years, first as a volunteer and then as a member of staff including a stint running the refuge. Her previous role was Communications & Training Coordinator.

JWA has a professional body comprising 20 members of staff, 18 in London and two based in Manchester.

JWA’s board of Trustees is co-Chaired by Liz Gould and Hilda Worth. They have been members of JWA’s Board for several years, and worked together very successfully co-chairing our annual fundraising lunch. JWA’s Hon. President is Judith Usiskin MBE, and our Hon. Vice-Presidents are Mildred Levison and Sheila Miller (Vice-President, Counselling).

There have recently been some changes to our board of Trustees and we are delighted to be able to welcome new Trustees Tamara Bruck, Caroline Ratner, Rebecca Simon & Aliza Weinstein.

JWA would not be able to continue its vital work without our team of over 140 volunteers. For details of current volunteer vacancies, please click here.
