We work with Jewish schools and mainstream schools with a Jewish Society to provide specialist healthy relationships and consent education. Our Whole School Approach includes educational sessions for students, teacher training, parent engagement and a student ambassador programme, with the goal of embedding a consent culture across the school community.

Whole School Approach
The 2021 Ofsted review of sexual abuse in schools and colleges has now placed a Whole School Approach to educating about consent and healthy relationships onto the national agenda. The report found that incidents of sexual harassment were, ‘so commonplace that they [students] see no point in reporting them.’ It recommends that schools need to, ‘act as though sexual harassment and online sexual abuse are happening, even when there are no specific reports.’
Our Whole School Approach model invites schools to work with us in a holistic way to ensure a greater long-lasting impact upon the whole school community. We offer:

Highlights for 2026
Tackling Misogyny and Creating a Healthy Culture
A practical training session designed to build staff confidence in recognising and responding to issues around misogyny, respect and consent. Linking to the new RSHE guidance, the session explores the pressures and influences shaping young people’s relationships both online and offline, while sharing practical strategies to challenge harmful behaviours and promote a whole-school culture of respect.

Primary School Partnership
We works with primary schools to promote healthy relationships education. We offer whole staff training with links to the RSHE curriculum as well as interactive healthy relationships and consent workshops for Year 6 pupils.
Image Based Sexual Abuse
We have developed a partnership model to address issues surrounding nude sharing amongst teenagers. We aim to foster critical thinking skills and challenge young people to rethink sending and sharing nudes as well gain an understanding of the impact nude sharing can have amongst teens.
Pupil workshops
Jewish Women’s Aid delivers specialist, curriculum-aligned RSHE workshops for students in Years 6 – 13. Our interactive educational sessions provide students with the tools, knowledge and skills to safely navigate relationships in their online and offline worlds. We do this by opening conversations on what makes a relationship healthy or unhealthy, what influences young people’s attitudes and behaviours and how they can make positive choices in their own lives.

Staff training
Our teacher training workshops provide staff with up-to-date knowledge, practical tools and expertise to support the teaching of the RSHE curriculum. With the new guidance in place in September 2026, our sessions can be tailored to both primary and secondary settings. Specialist teacher training sessions include:
- Effective Healthy Relationships and Consent Education: Build staff confidence in delivering high-quality RSHE, with practical skills and approaches for teaching healthy relationships and consent and facilitating challenging conversations.
- NEW: Tackling Misogyny and Creating a Healthy Culture: Explore the online and offline influences shaping young people’s attitudes, with practical strategies to recognise and challenge misogyny and promote a culture of respect.
- Understanding Domestic Abuse and Its Effects on Children: Help staff recognise and respond to domestic abuse, exploring its impact on women and children, the experiences of Jewish women and how schools can provide support.
- Department-Specific Support: Work with departments such as English, PE, Jewish Studies, Drama and Science to embed themes including respect, boundaries and healthy relationships into everyday teaching.

School Ambassadors Programme (Year 12)
The JWA School Ambassadors Programme is a student leadership initiative designed to empower Year 12 students to become active champions of healthy relationships and consent within their school community.
What the programme involves:
- Knowledge: Ambassadors deepen their understanding of sexual violence, sexual harassment, and healthy relationships.
- Skills: Students gain practical skills in facilitation, communication, and running campaigns.
- Empowerment: Ambassadors put their learning into action, leading Year 7 healthy friendship workshops, campaigns and empowerment projects that make a tangible difference in the school community
Parent engagement
