“From the outside, my life looked normal. But behind closed doors, I was living in fear. The abuse crept in gradually until I no longer recognised myself. I lost my confidence, my freedom, my hope. I felt ashamed and alone and was terrified for my children. I didn’t know where to turn so I reached out to Jewish Women’s Aid.”
