We can offer: Professionals training for youth and student organisations (details below) Talks on campus (e.g. Friday night dinners) Training for J-Soc Committees Attendance at student events COMING SOON: Uni Ambassador Programme 2023 In 2022, we provided training for 421 youth professionals and volunteer leaders, to enable them to create safer settings for the thousands of Jewish children and young people in their care. In 30 sessions for 12 youth and student organisations, we provided the tools, information and discussion opportunities to equip youth leaders with the confidence to address sexism and harassment and help embed a culture of respect across their organisations. Summer Youth Leader Training! In July and August 2023, the team travelled across the UK and delivered training to 220 youth leaders from four youth movements, in preparation for their Summer Camps. More details about this year's Summer Training Sessions Healthy Relationships 101: Managing Group Dynamics & Setting Effective Boundaries on Camp & Israel Tour Participants will learn to manage healthy and problematic behaviours in group settings, whilst reflecting on how their own positions of power and privilege can influence the group environment. From Normalisation to Violence: Recognising Harmful Culture & Understanding Consent on Camp & Israel Tour This training explores how harmful culture can develop in youth settings and beyond, with the aim of cultivating greater awareness and sensitivity among participants of topics such as sexual violence and consent. NEW: Session for Chanichimot: Healthy & Respectful Boundaries on Summer Programmes Our first ever, brand new training for chanichimot, this is the perfect opportunity to really embed a healthy culture across your entire youth movement. This session is similar to ‘Healthy Relationships 101’, but with a focus on helping the chanichimot recognise and develop positive peer-to-peer relationships across a range of age groups.
