Jewish Women’s Aid is the only charity in the UK working with Jewish women, and their children, affected by domestic abuse. We provide a client support service, counselling, children’s service, helpline and education, training and awareness raising programmes.

We are currently looking to recruit a:

YOUNGER WOMEN’S CLIENT SUPPORT WORKER

to join our casework team

35 hours per week (Full time)

Salary £27,000 

JWA’s client support service provides a vital lifeline for women experiencing physical, emotional, economic and sexual abuse. The team offers practical and emotional support including: risk and needs assessment, key work and safety planning. They also assist women to access counselling, legal advice, McKenzie Friends and coaching. 

The client support team is based in the borough of Barnet, with outreach work across London and surrounding areas.

You’ll be enthusiastic, empathic and creative, and able to work with people under stress. You will already have experience of working with vulnerable and high risk groups, ideally with women under 25 years old. Knowledge of the Jewish community is also essential.  You’ll be tech savvy with a desire to learn more about digitally-enhanced stalking and cyber abuse.
