On Thursday, 29th June, we were delighted to hold our Annual Summer Concert at South Hampstead Synagogue in memory of our past Chair, Frances Turner z'l. The concert was hosted by Frances’ husband, David Turner, and family to raise funds and awareness of our Schools Programme which was dear to Frances' heart.

The audience were treated to beautiful performances by revered classical musicians Simon, Saoko and Aki Blendis.

Monica Tuohy, Interim CEO, addressed the audience on the night, “Frances has left a tremendous legacy regarding our work in schools. It has grown and developed over the years with our current focus on safer relationships; a shift away from a purely domestic abuse focus to one which young people can resonate with more easily.”

A heartfelt thank you from Jewish Women's Aid to the Turner family, Blendis family, and the guests who attended. It was a wonderful evening that will help us continue our work in schools.
