On Sunday 26th June, Jewish Women’s Aid,  alongside 85 other Jewish charities, participated in the 2022 Maccabi GB Community Fun Run at the Stone X Stadium in North West London!  1,300 runners took part in the fun run and we are incredibly thankful to have had 15 runners representing Jewish Women’s Aid, ranging in ages from 70 to just 6 years old, who ran and walked in the 10k, 5k and 1k races for us.

Funds raised will go towards supporting Jewish women and their children facing domestic abuse and sexual violencewhich will go a long way to help our services. Thank you so much to every one of our fundraisers and runners!

It was a wonderful sunny day and our CEO, Naomi Dickson, was in attendance, alongside other Jewish Women’s Aid staff and volunteers. Thank you to our volunteers for their help on our stand and to Mia for running her braid bar! Naomi even had the chance for a quick catch up with Chief Rabbi Mirvis, who helped to start the races.

“We loved being a part of such an important event in our communal calendar, where over 5,000 people attended and seeing all the other charities doing such great work.  We can't wait for next year!commented CEO, Naomi Dickson.
