Our Director of Client Services, Karen Lewis, and Chair, Caroline Ratner, together with Marc Levy of the Jewish Leadership Council, met with Jess Phillips, MP and Alex Davies-Jones, MP to discuss our work, our recent achievements, and the challenges we are facing in the current economic environment. We also spoke about the importance of ‘by and for’ organisations and our prevention education work in schools.

Karen and Caroline also attended the White Ribbon APPG whose aim is to engage parliamentarians (particularly male parliamentarians) in raising awareness and challenging male violence against women and girls in all forms. We were honoured to be mentioned in the APPG as part of the AVA Consortium on the work we deliver in schools on healthy relationships and consent.

Caroline said, ‘It was a fantastic visit and privilege to meet with Jess and Alex to talk about all the great work that the team at Jewish Women’s Aid do.‘
