Team JWA at the Maccabi Fun Run 2023!

Jewish Women's Aid had a wonderful day at the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run on Sunday, 25th June 2023, at the Stone X Stadium, Allianz Park, London. We joined over 6,000 people and other charities from across the Jewish community in the beautiful sunshine.

Team JWA, who ranged in age from 5- 80 years old, took part in the 10k, 5k and 1k courses raising money for our vital services, working with Jewish women and their children enduring the effects of domestic abuse and sexual violence.

It was fantastic to spend time with our Patron, Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, who came to visit us at the Charity Fair and spoke to our team.

Thank you to our incredible runners and walkers, we are so grateful for all your support and the funds you raised. Thank you to Mia's Braid Bar for braiding hair on our stall at the Charity Fair and to all the volunteers, staff, and trustees who helped out on the day.

Thank you to all at Maccabi GB and partners for making it such a brilliant annual event, with an abundance of funds raised for charity across the community. The atmosphere was amazing and there were things for all the family to enjoy!
