Training Testimonials

This is a selection of some of our favourite testimonials!

Thank you so much for running such a fantastic, informative and sensitive session. I thought it was wonderfully organised, clear and carefully presented. The tone was perfect and the balance between statistics, interactive exercises and information about engaging with domestic abuse was great.

Training delegate, JWA trainings for Professionals

Thanks so much for a superb session yesterday at NNLS. It was a really tough afternoon but I learnt so much and whilst a lot of the information was incredibly overwhelming I feel better equipped to deal with these traumatic situations. Thank you for making the session so engaging, informative and supportive.

Niki Jackson, Education Director New North London Synagogue

Fantastic & informative. Needs to be spread more.

Student Rabbi Mordechai Chalk

I have loved all of the sessions and have found myself more and more passionate and committed to spreading the word of the help available through JWA.

Synagogue Care Committee Coordinator

Your presentation was expertly delivered and has helped us to correctly evaluate how best to address the needs of the people we interact with.

A Jewish Charity

Thank you for inviting me to attend the Introduction Course. It was a real eye-opener and I feel that I am now much better equipped to detect and deal with situations of family violence.

Rabbi Yuval Keren

Thank you for the two sessions I attended at JWA. I thought they were both excellent and will stay with me for a long time.

Rabbi Nathan Godelson

Home-Start Barnet is extremely grateful for the support we receive from Jewish Women's Aid. Our volunteers support families in their own homes, offering emotional and practical support on a weekly basis. Many in our families have been victims of domestic abuse and it is therefore important that our volutneers have robust and extensive training, enabling them to provide appropriate support. This is facilitated twice a year by Lee Wax to our potential volunteers, some of whom have been abused themselves. The training is extremely professional, comprehensive, informative and interesting. The feedback from volunteers is always very positive, they enjoy the session as it is delivered in a very engaging way and they find the information extremely useful when working with families. We would like to thank all at Jewish Women's Aid for their continued help and support, their professionalism, knowledge and guidance is invaluable to our service.

Luci Yellon, Volunteer Coordinator Home-Start Barnet

Thank you for facilitating the teaching sessions across our three sites recently. They were all very well received and hopefully we can arrange further sessions in the future.
